VOLT Exhibition 12th - 21st July 2024
The three works submitted and accepted for the Blue Monkey Network Regenerate Open Call this month are a playful start to a new series of works on the theme of Evidence. They reflect my interest in the uncanny, the strange, and the point where film and painting intersect.
The aim is to create a series of scenes of crime paintings, (as opposed to photos). These experiments use paint and collaged materials that include wrapping paper, draw-lining paper, and wallpaper; all regenerated to appear as backdrops for evidence gathering.
